EDITH

“To improve is to change; to be perfect is to change often”

Welcome to the Edith Collection of 2016.

THE

INSPIRATION

Nicola Rees Mumford at the Edith Launch Party 2016

This year has seen more than its fair share of change and one of the pieces is my response to something I, for one, thought a very unwelcome change – I and 48% of the population – namely my Brexit necklace.

The Edith collection is all about change and changes, or ch-ch-changes as David Bowie sang.

This year has seen more than its fair share of change and one of the pieces is my response to something I, for one, thought a very unwelcome change – I and 48% of the population – namely my Brexit necklace.

On a more positive note I became even more convinced that jewellery which can change its appearance is a good thing so, this year, there are more pieces which can be worn several ways.

More drops and more earrings with invisible hooks on which to hang drops. Twilight tiara, Green garland and Cognac coronet rings can all be worn several ways and I love the change from classic pearls to funky necklace in ‘Victoria’s circle’.

To be able to change, in whatever way, is important for us all. Or to put it more eloquently as George Bernard Shaw did:

Those who cannot change their minds cannot change anything”
