What services do you offer?
Edith & Kiveen is a jewellery design house with a deep knowledge and love for the rich and diverse world of gems and jewellery. We offer a complete bespoke jewellery design and consultation service, and a select annual collection of jewellery. We also offer an antique jewellery sourcing service, alongside our bespoke design and collections, all of which can help turn your dreams for a beautiful, one-off and personal piece of jewellery into a wonderful reality.
All purchases of bespoke or collection items are based on face-to-face viewings. If you are interested in commissioning a design, or in purchasing an item featured on this site, please contact us to discuss further.
Do you have a shop/studio?
Edith & Kiveen works out of a private studio based in central London and we do not have a store. All current collection pieces are featured on the Edith & Kiveen website. In the event that you would like to commission a piece of jewellery from us we will arrange our initial (and any subsequent) consultations at a place of your convenience, and if you would to arrange a private viewing of any of our featured collection pieces please contact us.
I want a unique piece of jewellery made. Do you do bespoke design?
We offer a complete bespoke jewellery design and consultation service, and pride ourselves on our service. Our designer, Nicola Rees Mumford, will bring her extensive knowledge of gemstones, her creative flair and innate skill for finding the precise gem and design for the piece to help shape your requirements. With a close consideration of budget parameters, strong project management and a firm belief in helping you find the right design to suit the wearer’s personality, we’re sure that you will find our bespoke consultation service friendly, unintimidating, fully dependable and fun.

How do I know my bespoke piece will turn out as I had imagined?
We will spend time understanding your requirements for the proposed piece, including any existing sources of inspiration, colour ideas and early sketches, generating our own drawings on paper to begin to work out shape, form and proportion, also discussing materials and stones. Where we are sourcing stones for you, we will arrange a further meeting to discuss and refine your choices, always consulting with you before any stones are set. In special circumstances, we will provide 3D images, produced using the latest computer software.
I have an old piece of jewellery that I would like adapted and made into something new and different. Are you able to help me?
At Edith & Kiveen we know that jewellery can hold powerful and enduring significance and memories. Our bespoke design service aims to create new pieces that do the same, but we know that there are also cherished items which our customers may no longer wear, or are presented in a style no longer to their taste, but which still hold precious meaning.
With this in mind, we are delighted to work with you to remodel treasured items, either into a completely new design or to find ways to re-use stones and update the existing piece of jewellery to your taste. For more information on this service, please visit our Antiques section of this website.
I have some loose stones that I would like made into a piece of jewellery. Are you able to help me?
Yes. Similar to our remodeling service, we will be delighted to use gems stones you have to create a new piece to satisfy your desires. For more information on this service, please visit our Antiques section of this website.
How long does it take to have a piece of jewellery made?
We will always aim to be clear about delivery timescales. The process usually takes 4-6 weeks from the initial consultation, depending on availability for stage sign-offs and requirements for stone sourcing. For more information please visit our Bespoke Service section of this website.
Do you buy stones from the public?
We don’t buy stones at Edith & Kiveen. If you are looking to sell gemstones we would recommend Holts of London so please let us know your requirements and we can discuss them and make a personal introduction to the Holts team. Items must be taken to their showroom at 98 Hatton Garden, London EC1N 8NX, where prices will only be discussed upon inspection of the gem materials you are offering. We don’t do stone cutting or polishing at Edith & Kiveen. If you are looking for these services, we would recommend Holts of London. The price of all gem-cutting work absolutely depends on the material and the work to be done. The showroom is open Monday to Friday, 9.30am – 17.30pm. Can I return a bespoke piece to you for a refund?
Bespoke items, i.e. items that do not form part of our collections, can be exchanged at the discretion of Edith & Kiveen. For more information on our returns policy, and to discuss any questions you might have, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Do you ship internationally?
While most purchases of collection items will be based on face-to-face viewings, we can ship abroad in special cases and will always do so securely. Shipping prices will be dependent on location.
My order has not arrived, what should I do?
If your order doesn’t arrive as expected, please contact us immediately. Our service is based on a one-to-one relationship, and we will always be in close contact with you with news of the progress of your order. All shipping and delivery will be via trackable, secure methods, as agreed, or where possible hand delivered.
I have seen an item I like in your collection, but would like to see it in person before purchasing, is this possible to arrange?
Yes, all items are sold following private viewings. Please contact us so we can advise on the process.
Do you do refunds on collection items purchased?
Yes, we offer a 14-day money back guarantee. If you are not delighted with your purchase, contact us within 14 days for a full refund of the product price.
What is your returns policy?
Bespoke items, i.e. items that do not form part of our collections, can be exchanged at the discretion of Edith & Kiveen. For more information on our returns policy, and to discuss any questions you might have, please contact us. Upon receipt of an order, if any item has been received damaged, please notify us by telephone or email as soon as possible and we can discuss next steps if you wish to return the item. We strongly advise all customers to check their purchase(s) thoroughly upon delivery before disposing of any original packaging.
Do you provide engraving services?
Yes, we can arrange for an engraving service to be provided as part of our bespoke design service, or on collection items, but please do contact us so we can advise.
I have seen something I like on your website but it is marked as unavailable. Can I still purchase this item?
Our regular collections are created from one-off, unique pieces. If an item is marked as unavailable, that means it has been sold and is unfortunately no longer available. However, subject to the availability of the stones, we can certainly discuss making something very similar. Some of our collection pieces are repeat pieces, in which case we can provide an identical piece, again, subject to the availability of stones. If I buy an item will it come with an automatic insurance valuation?
If you would like an insurance valuation for your purchase we will be more than happy to provide one. Please contact us so we can advise further.
